Are you looking to adopt a furry friend this holiday?  There are thousands of stray animals around Wisconsin this season, so Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission (MADACC) is running an event starting December 12th to the 23rd, hoping to get all their adoptable animals in loving homes by Christmas.  All cats and dogs are starting at a $12 dollar adoption fee, and increasing by $1 a day up until the 23rd.  The $12 - $23 adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, microchipping, and up-to-date vaccines.  For Milwaukee County residents, there is an additional $12 license fee.

MADACC is encouraging people to complete the free and non-binding adoption application for pre-approval before you arrive, so they can cut down on wait times and have you returning home with your new furry friend as soon as possible.

You don't have to make an appointment to visit, just stop in during adoption hours: Monday through Friday 1-6:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 11-3:30pm.  You can find more information at www.madacc.org or call them at 414-649-8640.
