According to an article published by 247wallst.com, Whitefish Bay in Wisconsin not only made the cut as one of America’s 50 Best Cities to Live, but it made it into the Top 10! Fun fact, of the top 50, a few more Wisconsin cities made the list too: Monroe (44), Sturgeon Bay (41), and Stevens Point (39).

Some of the factors they considered when creating their list included “safe streets, a strong economy, affordability, and a range of entertainment options.” These stats and more were pulled from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, and other sources; population sizes they considered had to be 8,000 and up (here’s a deep dive into their methodology).

Whitefish Bay made it all the way to 9th place with their population size of 14,099 and a median household income of $111,069. It beat out all other Wisconsin cities on the list and becomes the best place to live in our state. The special report partially credits a strong job market to the high quality of life in this village; additionally, it has one of the safest communities in the country!
